Environmental Concerns Organization, Inc. (ECO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that focuses its efforts on the promotion of environmental stewardship and sustainable community development projects. This goal is achieved through environmental education programs to schools & businesses, the operation of a community recycling center, the restoration of a critically threatened riparian wildlife habitat area, and the development and promotion of environmentally conscious products. In addition, ECO employs “youth at risk” through community service.
 

The Recycling Association of Maricopa (RAM) is a solid waste Recycling Facility in the City of Maricopa. RAM accepts more household recyclable commodities than any other collection facility in the state of Arizona. Through RAM, ECO has provided environmental education programs to schools and organizations throughout the state. ECO has received numerous grant awards for their efforts over the past several years. In recognition of their environmental stewardship, ECO twice received the Governor’s Pride Award and the 2007 Environmental Excellence Award for their ten years of environmental stewardship. 

ECO Restoration Society (ERS) was established to assist in the clean-up and restoration of a critically threatened riparian wildlife habitat area. Since its inception, ERS has sponsored clean-up events that have helped clear hundreds of thousands of pounds of household waste and tires from neighboring deserts surrounding the City of Maricopa – the majority of which, ERS recycled. ECO has received numerous awards for their environmental stewardship.
